My Weight Loss – Week 1

 

As you may or may not have heard, I am trying to lose weight for an upcoming event (my wedding) and also to lose weight to be a healthier person.
When I first stepped on the scales I was actually a little shocked at how high the number was. I new I was heavier than I probably reaslied but when I saw the number I was a little shocked.

I first started off by being nearly 100kg or 220 pounds. I don’t think I have ever been that heavy before…. ok time to make a change. Get up and move more. You can even see my weight loss progress here. I will be posting weekly updates and hopefully show some real progression.

 

Monday – Large walk and small run with dog (3km walk & 0.5km run)

Tuesday – Large walk with dog (3km)

Wednesday – Basketball game

Thursday – Relaxed

Friday – Small walk (2km)

Saturday – Small walk (1.5km)

Sunday – Relaxed

For a total of 3.1kg lost. Don’t worry, I did double check the number several times, not sure how I lost so much in one week? Strange, but hey, I ain’t complaining.

 

So overall a pretty good week. I did eat pretty healthy during the week but the weekend really got me. We were out for a majority of the weekend staying at my fiance’s parents, therefore, we got a lot of takeout. Ooops! But it was my soon to be mother in law’s birthday so we had to celebrate.

Hopefully this week I can get some good exercise in and see some more weight lost.
